SquadOp was born on the court, in the dugout, and on the pitch — not in a boardroom. We've spent decades in youth sports. Starting clubs from scratch, recruiting coaches, managing rosters, chasing down insurance renewals, and figuring out how to collect dues without losing our minds.
The tools weren't built for us.
We tried everything. GameChanger for scores. TeamSnap for rosters. Shopify for dues. SportsEngine for registration. Google Forms for coach timesheets. Venmo for paying coaches. Spreadsheets for compliance. Text threads for gym bookings.
Every one of those tools does its job. But none of them talk to each other. None of them were built for the founder who's also the head coach, the bookkeeper, the compliance officer, and the parent liaison. We didn't need a better version of any single tool — we needed the connective tissue between all of them.
We needed a back office. Not a staff of ten. Just a system that handles the operational grind so we could get back to doing what we actually started our clubs to do: coach kids.
So we built it ourselves.
